CORPORATE

KTM Kimyevi Maddeler KTM Chemicals Incorporation was established in Istanbul in 1999 by Kazim Zulfikari, who is also the founder of the Zulfikarlar Group initiated by Haci Zulfikar Zulfikari in 1942, to provide and distribute chemicals in Turkey.

KTM rapidly concluded long-term representation and distribution agreements with numerous international petrochemicals manufacturers and guaranteed the raw material supply of the Turkish manufacturing industry.

In Dilovası Industrial Zone, KTM built a new liquid storage tank terminal, which guarantees storage of the liquid chemicals in international standards and appropriate conditions,. KTM also constructed a 3.000 m2 bonded warehouse for dry chemical products.

In addition to its distribution and logistics services in Turkey, KTM has initiated sales and distribution to Turkey's neighboring countries, as well.

In order to provide the continuous perfection of the supply chain, KTM guarantees fast raw material supply not only with its Dilovası Terminal & Warehouses, but also with its rented warehouses at Istanbul European coast, Izmir and Mersin.

KTM's priority was to distribute chemicals to the Paint industry in Turkey, but in a very short period of time, the company added the product groups of Polyurethanes, Plasticizers, Textile Auxiliary Chemicals, and Surface Treatment Chemicals.

Since the plastic raw material consumption was and it still is growing very fast in the Republic of Turkey and Turkey comes second in plastic raw material consumption in Europe, it is decided that KTM should enter this market.

In 2007, KTM Polymers Incorporation has been established.

KTM Polymers brought along a new perspective and breathed new life into the sector with its knowledge and know-how about the trade and finance of polymers and petrochemicals. It continues to grow rapidly.

KTM Chemicals and KTM Polymers are growing rapidly, and the next target is to invest in the energy sector. In the near future, KTM decided to operate not only on petrochemicals and polymers, but also on all product groups of the energy sector in Turkey and its neighbors.

As a result of the partnership agreements made with the important refineries in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, as of 2010 KTM began to trade in petroleum and petroleum derivatives, as well.

KTM will continue to grow through strategic partnerships and/or acquisitions in the near future. KTM takes the necessary steps in order to do so.

We would like to express our gratitude to our valuable customers and suppliers for their contribution in the healthy and steady growth of our companies.
